UBUNTU– A well-known content creator, industrial engineer and media personality Mandisi Tshingana has officially launched the Mandisi Tshingana Foundation, an initiative dedicated to supporting individuals and families from disadvantaged communities across South Africa.
The newly formed non-profit organisation (NPO) seeks to empower communities through collective action and shared compassion. The foundation encourages people to come together and make donations that will go directly toward assisting those in need.
“Our belief is simple people should help one another. Together, we can make a difference. As black people, we live by the philosophy ‘umntu ngumntu ngabantu‘ I am because we are. The more we help others, the more we build stronger, united communities,” Tshingana emphasized.

Although the Mandisi Tshingana Foundation operates as a non-profit organisation, Tshingana remains optimistic that community support and donations will sustain its operations and impact.
The inspiration to launch the foundation came after the success of a recent fundraising campaign that touched many lives.
According to the team, witnessing the power of collaboration and the positive outcomes that followed motivated them to formalize their efforts into a lasting initiative. The foundation has appealed to the public for ongoing support through donations, sponsorships, and advocacy.
By spreading the word and helping secure partners, supporters can play a vital role in uplifting disadvantaged communities.
“Any contribution, no matter how small, strengthens our mission to create opportunities and empower those in need,” said a representative from the foundation. “Hope is a dangerous thing for people like us to have. But we have it.”
The Mandisi Tshingana Foundation aims to continue growing its network of supporters and partners to drive long-term social and economic change, guided by the spirit of ubuntu humanity through togetherness.
