The renowned South African TV presenter Thembisa Mdoda who was once married to actor Atandwa Kani has reportedly found herself in the midst of another highly publicized marital crisis. According to Sunday World publication the couple, Mdoda and her husband Mfanelo Nxumalo have allegedly separated.
As reported by Sunday World Nxumalo has allegedly moved out of their shared home in 2024 and is currently renting an apartment in Northcliff. Furthermore, it is claimed that he has found a new partner signaling a significant move on from his marriage to Mdoda.
The couple who share a child together a baby boy born in 2024 allegedly now communicate with each other via email.
This reported arrangement has raised concerns about the state of their relationship. Mdoda’s previous marriage to Atandwa Kani ended in drama with Kani accusing Mdoda of infidelity and questioning the paternity of their twin boys.
In addition, Mdoda has since distanced herself from Kani, publicly stating that she does not recognize their marriage.Attempts by family members to mend Mdoda and Nxumalo’s marriage have reportedly failed with sources confirming that the family has been informed about their separation.
“The family has been informed about their separation; many people know about it, it is no longer a secret.”
Mdoda has yet to publicly comment on her alleged separation from Nxumalo.
