Lindo Mtangayi’s unique sound blends infectious Gqom rhythms with soul-stirring Gospel essence, crafting a sound that’s both modern and deeply rooted in cultural heritage.
In an exclusive interview with Eastern Cape Daily News Mtangayi had this to say, “I’m excited about the whole experience and looking forward to my entire performance.”
She also shares that her music comes from personal experiences, aiming to instill hope in those going through difficulties saying, “My music came mostly from my personal experiences and I want to instill hope in people going through difficulties in life.”
Some of her popular songs include; Hamba Ngalamandla- a traditional gospel vibe that always gets the crowd going. Kuvele Kukhanye- a soul-stirring track that resonates with audiences. Usirayeli Akaqedwa- another fan favorite showcasing Mtangayi’s unique sound.
The tour will make stops in Bizana and Tsolo, engaging local communities with Mtangayi’s dynamic performances.
The events are scheduled for Bizana; Saturday, 13 September 2025 at the Civic Centre-. Tsolo; Saturday, 20 September 2025, at Kaya’s Place.
Tickets are priced at General Admission; R150 and VIP Access; R250 offering attendees an immersive experience with the artist and potential guest performers.
