EAST LONDON- The city of East London is set to witness a historic gathering of Afro-Soul Gospel enthusiasts as the Buffalo City stadium plays host to the highly anticipated Afrosoul Gospel event on 2nd August 2025.
The event promises to be an unforgettable day and evening of music, worship and celebration, leaving attendees uplifted and inspired. The event organiser Sikelela Molefe explained that despite the numerous events in East London, there is a noticeable gap in the market for an event that specifically caters to Afrosoul and Gospel music.
With this in mind, the Afrosoul Gospel event aims to fill this void by showcasing the unique blend of Afrosoul and Gospel ultimately showing love and appreciation to fans of both genres.
Notably, the event’s all-white theme holds significant meaning, symbolizing peace and unity among attendees. With its uplifting energy and spiritual depth the Afrosoul Gospel event aims to spread a message of hope and love through the powerful sounds of Afrosoul Gospel.

As a native of the Eastern Cape, Sikelela Molefe the event organizer emphasized the significance of the Buffalo City Stadium as a hub for artists from the region.
“The Buffalo City Stadium is the heartbeat of the arts scene in the Eastern Cape, and we’re proud to feature talented musicians who call this province home,” he says.
By showcasing these artists the event aims to inspire the community and aspiring musicians, demonstrating that success is within reach. “We want to show the youth that with dedication and passion, they can achieve their dreams, just like the talented artists we’re presenting, who have risen to prominence despite being from the same region,” he added.
Furthermore he explained that ticket are available at computickets and that everyone is allowed to have cooler boxes at a certain price.
