GQEBERHA- Inaugural festival to bring together music industry professionals, budding talent and music lovers in GqeberhaThe Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality(NMBM) is set to host the inaugural Mandela Bay Music Video Film Festival on 31st May 2025, at the Atheneum in Gqeberha.
This exciting event promises to bring together music industry professionals, budding talent and music lovers from across the province.
The festival, founded by Sebenzile Zalabe and implemented by Flying Loudcast Agency aims to empower young people with industry know-how, enabling them to grow their brands and monetize their music videos. With workshops, masterclasses, and an award ceremony, the festival will provide a platform for emerging and established artists, filmmakers and directors to showcase their music videos.
According to festival media relations officer Sinethemba Gayiza, “We want to foster a degree of professionalism in this industry and empower music video producers with the expertise to lure private sector partnerships and link them with the tourism industry.” The festival will feature live entertainment by featured artists and tickets are available on Webtickets for R100.
