EAST LONDON- University of Fort Hare(UFH) Law students crowned Moot Court Champions at Constitutional Court.
The King Phalo Airport in East London erupted with excitement on Saturday evening, 26 April 2025 as Forterians gathered to give a hero’s welcome to Christian Buthelezi and Babalwa Mofokeng who brought home the 2025 Public Interest Law Moot Court trophy after a powerful performance in the final round held at the Constitutional Court of South Africa!
The third-year LLB students stood toe-to-toe with law students from across South Africa who participated in the rigorous rounds of the competition.
Making it to the top four, along with the University of the Witwatersrand, the University of Johannesburg, and UNISA.
At the end, it was Fort Hare that emerged victorious in one of the most prestigious student competitions in the country.
The celebrations this evening were nothing short of electric, cheers, ululations and songs filled the air as the champions returned home in glory.
