A young entrepreneur is making waves in the beauty industry in Duncan Village in a modern shack, you may not have met her but you may have seen her work on others meet Yandisa Mali (25)from Ncerha village is the proud owner of Yaya’s Beauty Bar which she launched in June 2023.

Mali holds N4, N5 and N6 certifications in Management Assistance from Buffalo City College(BCC). With a strong online presence on Facebook and TikTok, Yandisa has built her loyal following among beauty enthusiasts.

Her mission goes beyond just providing top-notch beauty services she aims to empower young people by offering them employment opportunities. “I wanted to give back to my community by creating jobs for other young individuals,” Yandisa explained.

Her slogan, ‘Touched by Yaya,’ reflects her commitment to excellence and her confidence in her craft. Yaya’s Beauty Bar offers a range of services, including installation with style, frontal ponytail, plaiting, wig treatment and basic installation.

Furthermore Yandisa’s dedication to her clients is evident in the way she showcases her work on social media, often featuring testimonials from satisfied customers.

For Yandisa, effective communication is key to achieving success. “To reach your goals, you must communicate with your clients with respect. I humble myself even when I disagree with a client because I understand the importance of making them feel valued,” she emphasized.
