Flagstaff NPO makes a difference in local school

FLAGSTAFF- Siphezini Multipurpose Centre(SMC), a young and vibrant Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), handed over school shoes to 14 outstanding learners at Qamangweni Senior Primary School in Flagstaff on 27th May 2025.

The learners had excelled in public speaking, reading and spelling competitions held in the second quarter of the year.

SMC Deputy Chairperson, Phamela Vusiwe, expressed the organisation’s vision to change lives in their community by identifying and nurturing specific skills. “We aim to encourage our learners by recognising their talents and providing necessary support,” she said.

The school principal, Andile Manda, welcomed this initiative and expressed gratitude for the much-needed intervention. “We look forward to collaborating with Siphezini Multipurpose Centre on future programs,” he added.

In addition with plans to extend their reach to sports, entertainment and economic development, SMC is poised to make a lasting impact. Their upcoming projects include hosting a youth tournament for under-15 boys and girls.

As a newly formed NPO, Siphezini Multipurpose Centre is eager to touch lives in various sectors, inspiring confidence and hope in the community.
