PORT ST. As noted by Ngalika, homestays are the bedrock of tourism in the Eastern Cape, particularly in rural areas where infrastructure is limited. “One standout example is Ncumisa’s Homestay in Nomqhekwana Village on the Wild Coast. This award-winning homestay is renowned for its delectable seafood dishes, freshly harvested from the ocean and traditional cuisine grown in its organic garden,” said Ngalika.
