The seminar will bring together Grade 10 to 12 learners from seven(7) local high schools, including School of Excellence and Nomaka Mbeki Technical SS, for a day of reflection, guidance and prayer.

“This is more than just a seminar it’s a healing space, our aim is to support learners emotionally and academically, especially in the wake of recent concerns around safety and educator misconduct in some schools,” said Ntsundwani.

The event will feature educational talks, mental health support and an opportunity for learners to anonymously share their experiences. These insights will contribute to a memorandum with recommendations and commitments to be submitted to relevant education authorities.

In an exclusive interview with Eastern Cape Daily News Ntsundwani further added, “We want to foster accountability and transparency in schools while equipping learners with the tools to protect themselves and speak out. We couldn’t invite all schools due to transport limitations, so we focused on those closest to town but we hope to grow the reach in future,” he said.

The event is open to invited schools only, but members of the public who wish to support or contribute can reach out via +27 81 305 2517 or donate to FNB Business Account: 63046517827.

This initiative by Kwetha Operations continues to highlight the urgent need for holistic learner support combining academic readiness with emotional resilience and community care.
