MDANTSANE- Phanda Mzansi proudly hosted its of it’s kind first inaugural Phanda Kasi entrepreneurial summit on the 22nd November 2024 at Ekoneni Lounge in Mdantsane, the summit was designed to empower entrepreneurs and open up pathways to global impact right from the heart of the Eastern Cape. Phanda Mzansi founded by a team of renowned business leaders, including Lonwabo Rani of Silulo Ulutho Technologies, Samora Madikane of Esotho Construction and others, it was created to support a collective of entrepreneurs rather than just those seeking individual advice.
The Phanda Kasi Summit gathered over 500 entrepreneurs from across the province and the country, offering them a unique opportunity to engage with key stakeholders in discussions that directly address their challenges. This comprehensive event featured a series of workshops, activities and conversations designed to provide actionable strategies for tackling the socio-economic hurdles facing local businesses.
Phanda Mzansi spokesperson Lubabalo Mashiqana said, “This summit aimed to empower entrepreneurs to turn the tide by creating job opportunities, fostering inclusive growth and expanding economic prospects.”
Participants had direct access to funding assistance, business management training, market access and compliance support. Essential tools for building successful Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises(SMMEs).
“Together, we can create opportunities and drive socio-economic change,” added Mashiqana.
With extensive media partnerships and promotional strategies in place including features on SAFM, TruFM and various local platforms, Phanda Mzansi summit resonated far and wide, heralding a new era of entrepreneurship and empowerment in the Eastern Cape.
