EAST LONDON- As excitement builds, the public was recently treated to a special Meet & Greet Ceremony for Miss Golden Heart SA on 3rd October 2025, at Hemingways Mall in East London.
Attendees got a chance to meet the finalists and view the official ZAZI crown ahead of the big night. The countdown to the Miss Golden Heart South Africa pageant finale has begun, with the main competition taking place on 4th October 2025, at Lilitha Boutique Hotel in Beacon Bay, East London.
According to Managing Director of Miss Golden Heart South Africa Siyamamkela Wanga, the organisation aims to promote self-discovery and individuality among participants through their crown, Zazi.
“Contestants have undergone a rigorous 7-month journey and scores from this period will be added to their performance tomorrow”, he said highlighting that with the competition just around the corner, the anticipation is palpable.
Contestants Ovayo Jilanga and Asenathi Gonqana expressed their excitement and confidence. Jilanga said, ” Tomorrow is going to be the day where the hard work is going to pay off.”
Konneh emphasized saying, “I am representing one of the plus size women and I want to say that your body must not take you away from your dreams instead your body must put you closer to your dreams.”
Furthermore parents of the contestants also geared up for the big day, with some traveling from far-flung provinces to support their children. Ms Mgemani, a parent from the Free State, expressed her excitement and encouraged other parents to support their kids. Meanwhile, Ms. Mvimbi, a parent from Bizana, couldn’t hide her desire for her child to win, saying, “Even though I’m happy for all the children, but I want mine to win.”
Wanga emphasized that they are looking forward to the main competition that will be happening tomorrow, which is the 4th of October but unfortunately tickets have sold out. For those who wish to watch, updates updates will be shared on social media.
