MTHATHA- In a heartwarming coincidence, a mother who shares her birthday with Christmas Day gave birth to twin boys at Mthatha General Hospital on 25th December 2024, the proud mother was overjoyed to welcome her two bundles of joy on her special day.
Eastern Cape Department of Health MEC Ntandokazi Capa expressed her excitement about the birth saying, “As the Department of Health we are committed to supporting new mothers and ensuring they receive the best possible care, we urge all mothers to prioritize their health and that of their babies, particularly through breastfeeding.”
Additionally,”We encourage young mothers to pursue their education,” MEC Capa added.
This joyful event brings cheer to the province and serves as a reminder of the importance of quality healthcare and support for new families.
