CSA & OLA South Africa Team up to bring joy to cricket fans

EAST LONDON- Cricket South Africa(CSA) has announced a sweet new partnership with Ola South Africa on 15th November 2024, making the popular ice cream brand the official ice cream partner for the current season.

As part of the partnership, Ola South Africa will be offering cricket fans a range of delicious match-day treats at stadiums across the country.

Fans can look forward to enjoying a variety of ice cream brands, including Magnum, Cornetto, Gino Ginelli, Paddle Pop, Ola Joy and Rich ‘n Creamy.

According to CSA Chief Executive Officer Pholetsi Moseki, the partnership is a perfect example of how brands can tap into the powerful connection that is brought about by sporting events. “It’s about enhancing the thrill that comes with every match,” Moseki said.

Ola South Africa’s Go to Market Lead Southern Africa, Ntando Luvuno, added that cricket is a big part of the sporting context in South Africa and that the brand is excited to be a part of it. “A sport enjoyed by many during the summer season under the heat, the sun and clear skies, this makes Ola South Africa a natural partner,” Luvuno said.

In addition Ola’s General Manager for Southern Africa Treevin Naidoo shared his excitement about the partnership. “We do not only share a ‘summer season’ in common, but as a brand we share a genuine passion and support for what cricket has done for individuals, our communities and our country,” Naidoo said.

The partnership is set to bring joy to cricket fans across the country and Ola South Africa is looking forward to being a part of the excitement.
